Becky graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Brighton in 2008, where she later returned to pursue a postgraduate MSc in Sports Injuries Management. Her career as a Physiotherapist has been mainly in the private sector, working previously at ESPH, East Dulwich & Village Physiotherapy, Farnborough. She has also worked for Westminster PCT as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist within a CMATS acute triage service.

In 2009 Becky decided to further her skill set by pursuing a Master’s degree in Osteopathy at the London School of Osteopathy. She graduated in 2013 and now enjoys amalgamating these skills within her treatment repertoire, providing a more comprehensive and holistic treatment approach to her patients.

Becky’s area of specialism is injury prevention and rehabilitation via exercise to optimise posture and performance. She is passionate about the biomechanical analysis of movement and the use of exercise to correct dysfunction movement patterns – often the main cause of musculoskeletal pain & injury. She has a background in Personal Training with Advanced Level 3 NVQ qualifications in both Corrective Exercise (injury prevention) and Exercise for the Older Adult awarded by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

In addition, she has a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Pilates from the Pilates Institute and specialises in Pilates for those recovering from injury. She works with a wide range of medical conditions but has a particular interest in sports injuries, back and neck pain, pre and post natal care (specifically working to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles) and the management of scoliosis and hypermobility.

Becky has worked within the fitness industry for 20 years, predominantly as a Personal Trainer and Aerobics Instructor. A self-confessed “Gym Bunny”, she admits to living in the gym prior to the birth of her children and can therefore sympathise with any injured exercise enthusiasts! She has taught a range of fitness classes including Group Cycling (Spinning), Bodypump, Bodybalance, Bodyattack, CXWorx™, body conditioning and Pilates.

She has a personal interest in weight training and bodybuilding. In June 2014 she competed in the Bikini Class of Miss Galaxy Universe Competition after months of training and strict nutrition. She hopes to return to competing one day but is currently focusing on her young family. She is a mum of 3 under 6.

Our Philosophy

Physiotherapy, Osteopathy & Pilates

We are dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal (bone, muscle, nerve, disc, tendon, ligament) problems and sporting/traumatic injuries. In addition to the hands on treatment we provide, our core principle is the use of rehabilitative and preventative exercise to improve the way you move and keep you pain free.

By looking at your posture and bio-mechanics (the way you move) we can identify and correct the root cause of the problem as well as treating your symptoms. This results in more permanent symptom relief allowing you to return to work, sport and the activities you love quicker and with a reduced occurrence of re-injury.
