Class Descriptions

Pilates: Our Matwork Pilates classes use a system of body weight exercises to improve the strength and stability of your joints, your posture and  flexibility without causing injury. This type of exercise can be tailored to all fitness level and ailments and so is suitable for all. This is a great class for injury rehabilitation.

Group Cycling: Is a cardiovascular workout on static fly wheel bikes to music. Follow the instructor on a journey across flat roads, hill climbs and sprints using a combination of cycling positions both seated and standing.

Bodybalance™:  A dynamic fusion of Yoga, Pilates and Tai Chi principles that leaves you feeling relaxed and renewed. Created and choreographed by LES MILLS™ this programme combines flexibility, strength-training, core conditioning, breathing and meditation into a challenging class that leaves you feeling centred and calm.

Bodypump™: This barbell resistance training class will sculpt, tone and strengthen your entire body, fast! Created and choreographed by LES MILLS™ using the  THE REP EFFECT™ which focuses on lifting low weight loads and high repetition movements so you’ll burn fat, gain strength and produce lean muscle. A systematic workout that targets all the major muscle groups via traditional weight training moves to music.

Cardio Mix: A cardiovascular body conditioning class that combines traditional aerobics, weight conditioning and HITT. This class will raise your heartrate but cators for all fitness levels with options suitable for those with injuries.

Can’t Find a Pilates Class Suitable for You?

As many of our classes are run in local private members clubs that you need to be a member of to enter and participate we can appreciate that most of our timetable is not accessible to the general public.

In light of this we are happy to run private Matwork Pilates classes for you in local venues of your choice if we can agree a suitable time and you can organise both the venue and enough participants to make this viable. Alternatively we can provide 1:1 or 2:1 Matwork Pilates in our clinic room.

We also highly recommend the Pilates Body Studio in Old Bexley Village and refer any clients that we can not accommodate ourselves here as they have an extensive Matwork & Equipment Pilates timetable. http://www.pilatesbodystudio.co.uk/
