Pure PT & Pilates was founded by Rebecca Pritchard (nee Jones) in 2009. Her vision was to provide a service that amalgamated her love of fitness and exercise with the science of musculoskeletal treatment in order to provide a comprehensive, one stop service for all her clients health and fitness needs.

Becky graduated as a Physiotherapist from the University of Brighton in 2008, where she later returned to pursue a postgraduate MSc in Sports Injuries Management. Her career as a physiotherapist has been mainly in the private sector; however she has worked for Westminster PCT as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist within an acute triage service.

In 2009 Becky decided to further her skill set by attending the London School of Osteopathy to pursue a Master’s degree in Osteopathy. She now enjoys amalgamating these skills within her treatment repertoire, providing a more comprehensive and holistic treatment approach to her patients. She is also qualified in acupuncture, with a particular interested it its use for pain management.

Becky’s area of specialism is injury prevention and rehabilitation via exercise to optimise posture and performance. She is passionate about the biomechanical analysis of movement and the use of exercise to correct dysfunction movement patterns. She has a background in Personal Training with Advanced Level 3 NVQ qualifications in both Corrective Exercise (injury prevention) and Exercise for the Older Adult awarded by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).  

In addition, she has a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Pilates from the Pilates Institute and specialises in Pilates for those recovering from injury. She works with a wide range of medical conditions but has a particular interest in sports injuries, back and neck pain, pre and post natal (specifically working to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles) and the management of scoliosis and hypermobility in young adults.

Becky has worked within the fitness industry for over 15 years, predominantly as a Personal Trainer and Aerobics Instructor. A self-confessed “Gym Bunny”, she admits to living in the gym and can therefore sympathise with any injured exercise enthusiasts! She teaches a range of fitness classes including Group Cycling (Spinning), Bodypump, Bodybalance, Bodyattack, body conditioning, water aerobics and Pilates.

She has a personal interest in weight training and bodybuilding. In June 2014 she competed in the Bikini Class of Miss Galaxy Universe Competition after months of training and strict nutrition. Becky is now embarking on a new adventure – motherhood and is currently awaiting the arrival of her first child.



Andy Hoskins – Associate Osteopath & Sports Massage Therapist

Originally from Abingdon, Oxford, Andy graduated from the Cardiff University of Wales with a BA Hons in Philosophy in 1998. Following an 11 year successful career in the travel industry he became inspired to retrain as an Osteopath following a fantastic experience as an Osteopathy patient. He went on to complete a Masters of Osteopathy with the British School of Osteopathy, London.

He favours the use structural techniques including stretching, massage, gentle articulation and joint manipulation (where you might hear a ‘click’) to facilitate the healing process. He also is our practice Sports Massage Therapist – a great treatment option for releasing everyday muscle tension as well as usage for pre/post sports event.

Andy has a busy life as a dad to twins! He is a keen runner, having completed both the London and Paris marathons. He also has a passion for adventure sports including kitesurfing, windsurfing and snowboarding.

In addition to his work at Pure PT & Pilates, he also works as an Associate Osteopath at the British School of Osteopathy in London Bridge and the Leigham Practice, Streatham Hill.

  • Injury Prevention & Rehabilitation via Exercise – specialist training in the lumbopelvic region with training Professor Andry Vleeming and spinal rehabilitation with Craig Liebenson.

Valeria graduated with a Masters Degree in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy, Kent. She works both as an Associate Osteopath and a Level 3 Pilates Matwork Instructor and has a jet set lifestyle regularly commuting to Barletta, Italy her family home.

She has a special interest in women’s health, in particular the treatment of new-borns and pregnant women. She is passionate about educating her patients providing postural advice, stretches and exercises to speed up their recovery maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. She often uses Mat work Pilates to help her patients to recover from their injury dynamically using an evidence based approach.

Valeria favours a gentle approach to treatment and uses techniques including soft tissue release, joint mobilization and stretches to correct bodily alignment.

She enjoys latin dancing, training at the gym and crossfit. She also works as an Associate Osteopath and Level 3 Mat-work Pilates Instructor at West 12 Health Centre, Shepherd’s Bush, London and Healthshare Ltd, Tonbridge.
